レスカルゴがあります

Niigata City is situated about 300 kilometers northwest of Tokyo, about 2 hours on Shinkansen (the Bullet Train), and is the largest city along Sea of Japan coastline.

It lies in the rich and fertile Echigo Plains, which is renowned for rice production; Niigata Prefecture is also home to the largest number of Sake brewery in Japan.

日本の風土、食文化に根ざしたワインを造りたい。

レスカルゴのワイン造りの想いを共有できる生産者が作り上げた

カベルネ・ソーヴィニヨン、ピノ・ブラン等。

また、マスカットベイリーA、巨峰などの生食用ぶどうでのワイン製造も積極的です。

Our goal is to produce wines firmly based on Japanese climate and food culture.

We use fruit produced by contract farmers who share our view of wine production, and accept the natural condition here as it is.

In addition to Cabernet Sauvignon and Pinot Blanc, we employ other cultivars such as Muscat Bailey A, Kyoho and Delaware grapes.

We intend to make gentle natured wines by extracting the maximum out of the fruit.

Simple make, only by extracting the maximum flavor out from the fruit of which we firmly believe in its power.

Natural oriented and unfiltered.

畑では個々のぶどうの樹の声を聞くような気持ちで栽培しています。

地中の根にもメッセージを送るため、

隅から隅まで足音を聴かせることで対話をしています。

段々と大人になっていく、ぶどう樹達の成長が楽しみです。

Here we grow grapevines like listening to the voices of the individual vines.

We communicate with the vines by walking through every inch of the yard to make ourselves heard to their roots, and deliver our messages to them.

That's how we cherish their steps of growth into adulthood.

太陽の光を沢山浴びたシャルドネは実が鼈甲色になる頃、収穫します。

南国を感じられるようなフルーティーな仕上がりです。

Chardonnay: Chardonnay is harvested as the fruit ripens into tortoiseshell color by summer sunlight, after enduring the harsh wintertime.

収穫の年を重ねる度に、ぶどうの実が成熟していくような印象です。

ワインになったピノノアールは新潟の海と山の風味を届けてくれます。

Pinot Noir: An year after year of harvesting, the maturity of the fruit is ever more to its highest.

Once made into wine, Pinot Noir delivers you the taste reminiscent of Niigata's seas and mountains.
